Adobe Premiere compatible format?

Since you kind folks steered me in the right direction I've been using GKnot with wonderful results for ripping and encoding anime (aside from what I think is a keyframe problem but I'll work that out on my own).

My newest problem is that DivX encoded video won't import into Adobe Premiere. This is very disappointing. Do any of you know if there is a plug-in for Adobe that might help? Or if not, how do I arrive at an uncompressed raw AVI from my DVD footage?

Are you working with raw footage that you've shot yourself? If so, it's quite possible that you're system doesn't have the necessary codec/s installed. Until you submit more information, I personally can't help, but here's a tip or two. Go to the Capturing and Editing forum, or the DV forum, and run searches on your problem, I guarantee that you'll find plenty to read up on, and links to the DV codecs. Or, come back here with more details. Good luck!

I just want to take anime footage from my anime DVDs and use them in Adobe Premiere. But Premiere won't open DivX encoded AVIs. So I guess I'm just wondering how to turn the VOB's into uncompressed AVIs that can be opened in Adobe Premiere.
