First, using a Cendyne (NEC 1300A). Was using Nero, but moved to DVDDecrypter and RecordNowMax. Everything working perfect regarding burning. Installed DVDShrink (Beta3-5) did some backups/burns no problem.

Decided to get InstantCopy 7, installed, upgraded and got the InstantCopy (Hidden-) Settings Editor. After I installed and rebooted (after I watched IC7 placing files in my Windows folder) IC7 came up after startup bitching about a "Damaged Driver". Gave me an option to repair, which I did. Played with IC7 with some test backups, everything seemed to work but the images seem to have problems in some of mine standalones. Decided to dump IC7, uninstalled but now my burner seems to putting out coasters. Nothing else changed on my system other then IC7. By "Repairing" did I do something to my system? Can IC7 effect other recording software? Does IC7 Uninstall completely remove all changes to the system?

Any help would be appreciated....

You can use Windows's system restore option...

I would rather not use that until I understand what exactly IC7 did/did not do durring the install/uninstall.

I am in the middle of some tests right now, will report back. If someone has an understanding of that "Damaged Driver" that would help. Also, because IC7 has burning capabilities what exactly does it need to do with the Windows folder during install and if the uninstall is suppose to reverse any changes made.

Something else I would like to add. I have been using DVDShrink Beta (2-5) to test backups. The playback issue I am testing is whether somehow one of the Betas has issues on playback on my standalones. I read somewhere (don't remember where) how some people had playback problems with either Beta 3 or 4, Beta 5 seem to clear them up however.

No, because after I installed IC7 that is when my problems began.
