greets to all,

im having some trouble with playback of dvd2svcd produced svcds. the images seem to work fine when mounted with daemon tools, and work fine when burnt to cd and viewed through PowerDVD on my Sony CD-RW CRX140E, but when i view the same cd through PowerDVD on my ATAPI DVD-ROM 8X i get playback problems, with green blocks, errors and distortions. These problems particularly occur towards the end of the svcds, however dont continue all the way to the end of the cd. Hard to explain, but basically if the svcd went for 100 minutes (purely for the purpose of example) the viewing from the 80th to 90th minute would be dogged with these distortions

ive noticed that the green blocks etc appear slightly different every time, leading me to believe that the problem is not hardcoded to the disc.

i hope i was clear in that post

thanks in advance
