Looks great. Hopefully it'll include a lot of fixes and improvments. I don't know why, but I keep worrying that the image quality in this product is going to get worse rather than get better. I guess that's because I think the image quality is already so great, I'm afraid that any changes are going to degrade the quality.

Anyway, anyone have any idea when this is going to be released. Looks extremely promising.

Paid full price for version 7. Never did get my rebate.

I'll gladly play with the trial version, but I doubt I will ever buy another Pinnacle product! :angry:

S8: Bought S8 from day one would not capture audio in sync. But it on the side for a while and used other programs. After a few updates were posted I installed it and tried again. The OOS problem was still not resolved. Many others also reported this problem on there web boards. Pinnacle's solution was to capture with another program and even gave a link to it on there help page. Oh, yeah this was not a free program I would have to pay for it. Now during this time I read a lot and learned a bunch about making DVD's and found other programs to capture for free (virtualdub). Pinnacle kept saying to me and others that there must be something wrong with our systems even though other programs including the one they suggested I use would capture in sync. Not to mention all the other bugs and workarounds that needed to be done to even come close to making a working DVD. To make a long story short to keep me quite I was offered a full refund. And by the way, a year after the programs release it still does not work (I lurk on there board every once and a while).

IC7: Even after other memembers of this board took the time to find bugs in the software and send them samples on how to recreate the bug (under size issue) they have never fixed it. Now it looks like they are coming out with V8 of the software and even if it works 100% what about all the 7 users? I will bet you the farm that it will not be a free upgrade. They will do the same with S8 soon I bet also.

Stay away from this company.. far far away......
