One file output in DVD2SVCD

As I uderstand, when using DVD2SVCD you get one, two or three files, according to the settings in the bitrate tab. Is there a way to get just ONE file?, doesn't matter the size.

yes,
adjust in bitrate tab:
all between "zero" and "your movie time",
all "use" (numbers of cds to 1)
and all "cd size" to your size target(1gb,1.5gb or 3gb,etc)!

Kind of slow, I am:

you say, jorel, that what I have to do is to set all those fields from "0" to "movie time", num. of CDs to "1" and then, to set cd size to whatever I want (lets say 1100).

Well the point is that I can't set more than the second field
between "fisrt" and "second", as the next first field takes the previous second field value

you're correct.
adjust the final time of the movie (or little more time)!
the important is "final time" in minutes!

then
use "1" cd size xxxxx ! (xxxxx is your target) ;-)
(the same for all in this case)

thanks, jorel, I think that I've got your point. I'll try it.

By the way:
I, usually, do this (just one big file) encoding from DVD to VCD or to SVCD, with DVD Decypter, DVD2AVI and TMPGEcn, as you alredy know. Then in the last step (with TMPGEnc) I instruct it to use unknown media. In this way the output is a big file, about 850 megs if VCD and 1.2 gigs if the output is SVCD.

This one is to let you know that I follow your advice and it worked nicely.

What I did was setting the bitrate tab in this manner:
In the "BETWEEN xxxx and yyyy" field I went to the closest to my movie lenght "BETWEEN 76 and 100 mins. USE 2 CD SIZE 740", once there I changed the second minutes field to my movie lenght (actually couple of minutes more, just to be on the safe side), and set the size field to 1100, as I plan to store 3 movies into a DVD:
"BETWEEN 76 and 105 mins. USE 2 CD SIZE 1100".

I let the computer working overnight and the next morning I've got a nice, one file, SCVD movie.
