We have an Avid DS system using version 4.0. It has a StudioZBurst driver that is capable of capturing uncompressed analog video using the DS software.
I have tried to use Virtual Dub to capture the video and it sees the StudioZ as a capture device but I get an error ("424 can not open Video input device") whenever I try to start a capture.
I would like to compress the video using huffyuv in real time as I capture it using VD or some other capture program. The DS is pretty picky about locking down the system so I am not sure this is even possible.
Any thoughts or suggestions for me to try.
