Pagefile slowing down compression?

I wonder,if u are using a pagefile,does it slow down compression(using vdub etc.?)
Moreover,if u turn off the pagefile,will it improve performance?
what do u ppl think/experiences?

I don' think it will decrease performance, swap is must to have. But don't expect any increase either, cause video editing isn't much memory demanded as for CPU power (IMHO).
