hy,
i have created mpeg2-program streams (2gb file) with cce:
8500cbr, audio 224kbps mpg2 from dv material. (using avisynth and temporalsmooth). virtualdubmod (scan) doesnt find errors in them, they play back fine in any software-player
i import those mpg video files in nerovision, add some slides and the menus- it transcodes but at the end of the transcoding it crashes with "error 1" or just exits. same when i only make one title with menus. does anyone know a solution?

btw, using canopus procoder with field based encoding doesnt seem to be possible with the recent version of nerovision (2.0.1.2), as it doesnt recognize the field-based-encoding and produces garbage...

i am desperately looking for a simple (no layers, just click and go..) authoring program, that can create "animated buttons", just like nerovision, but that works...i tried studio8, which crashes all the time when adding chapters.

Try Ulead DVD Workshop for animated buttons/menus!!
It's fantastic for home use!

thanks! will give it a try.
i found the problem- the mpeg file had a bad frame that probably made nerovision crash- pinnacle impression dvd pro couldnt create a udf-image of the file neither- scenarist nt refused to import it and reported a bad frame in the stream.
i wonder where the bad frame results from- vdubmod to cut, avisynth to denoise (but at the time with avifilesource), cce to transcode, mpgtx to join the files...
