You don't want to start a flamewar on this, do you? :)

I think it looks nice. I'm a bit to geekisk to run it myself, I'm a gentoo-zealot. But If this thing works as nice as it claims, I really think it's a great addition to the hurdle of Linux-distros. Something for my dad and girlfriend maybe. They both run redhat, but none of them have quite managed to understand the process of compiling new programs (or even fetching/installing rpm's). I guess I could install apt on their systems, but I wan't to wait and check other options. I Lindows could stop this scenario: ...
Dad: Uhm.. Could you help me a bit? I wan't to access my USB-pendrive.
me: Sure, let me sit, and I'll make a nice shortcut on your KDE-desktop for mounting/using/unmounting it.
dad: Nono, I wan't to do this myself
me (thinking): so for crying out loud, why did you bring me over?
me: I'll just go fetch a cig while you try.. (what I actually meant was: While you fumble around, clicking things you have no clue what does, compromising your whole system, and make me clean up your mess..)
me: (sitting in the living-room, enjoying a cig and some television).
Dad: HELP! I think you'll just have to do this for me..
Me: Sure! (what the heck did I suggest in the firstplace?)
... Then I might _REALLY_ consider even paying his license! ;)
