Hi!
Well, I ripped vob's from a dvd. I got two m2v video files and two ac3 audio files. Imported into DVDMaestro project all these files, I found I couldn't drag both ac3 files to the audio streams area because DVDMaestro just accepts one.
I tried creating a sync audio file. A new window let me assign each ac3 file to the m2v video file each one belongs. But, it didn't work too. I got an error and I think it's because the ac3 files are longer than the corresponding video files.
I think I can try using two movies, each one with its own m2v and ac3 files, but I have to split the subtitles and still get longer ac3 files.
Another possibility is to merge the ac3 files into one, but I'm not sure how to do it properly.
Well, any help would be apreciated!
Thanks!

If you want to join the ac-3 files, you'll have to decode/reencode them. To get them decoded, use besweet's gui to get six waves, then join the waves from the two files, then reencode using ac3machine or soft encode, etc.
However - I know that Maestro will create an audio sync file for both video clips, making one long ac-3. You said it just "didn't work" - can you be more specific on how you did that?
I just tested it - if you drag all the video assets in, then one audio asset, right click the audio track, click on "create sync audio track", then choose the right files, it creates a new ac3 file that contains the contents of all the other ones, synced to the video track above. Is this how you did it? It automatically replaces the audio asset on the track, by the way.

if the ac3 files are longer than the video, then the end will be chopped off, you shouldnt get an error due to the ac3 files being too big.

Well, I found a way to get just one ac3 file from a dvd.
I got the problem when I was using DVD Decrypter in file mode, selecting the vob file I want to demux and, by right clicking over the file and selecting stream processing, I finally got the m2v and ac3 files I needed. But I got one m2v and one ac3 file for each vob.
But yesterday I used DVD Decrypter in ifo mode, configured to not split files (option that can be found in tools->setting->ifo mode), and, after demuxing, I got the two files, m2v and ac3, which contained the entire movie video stream and audio stream.
Then I imported both files into DVDMaestro project, and then put each one into the timeline area.
The ac3 file was 1 second longer than video so, by right clicking over the audio file in the timeline I could access the Create Sync audio option and after a while I got a new ac3 file that it's supposed to be in sync with the video. I haven't enough time to compile and check but I will as soon as I can.
Thanks!
