Ok, here's my problem. Maestro has that damn annoying habit of making the subs desynch (we're all heard of it).

So, I run it through pulldown, problem still is there, but then through Maestro SBT I change the framerate to 30FPS and everythings perfect.

But, this DVD had another language's subtitles on it, and I ripped those directly. Since I don't need to run it through Maestro SBT, I import it directly, how can I change it's framerate to 30 fps so it won't become desynched? It's really important, and I can't make an SSA scripts of it then reconvert it (it's in Chinese, I have no Chinese keyboard)..

So how can I? Seriously, please please help! I have to send this to the company soon.

If you're having NTSC video then when you import your subtitles(I assume you ripped with Subrip), the video MUST have a Drop-Frame timecode...
Scenarist ignores the DF/NDF flags of a MPEG stream, so you can define the asset. On the contrary, DVDMaestro reads from the flags of the MPEG stream, so you have two options

1) i)Run pulldown to your original.m2v setting drop-frames flag ON...
ii)Put the pulldown.m2v to the timeline(you should see that
FPS is Drop-frame) and import the .son file
iii)Delete the video from timeline(select it and press DELETE on
the keyboard) and place the original.m2v

2)Instead of doing that for EVERY movie, just create an I-frame only, black MPEG-2 video with a bitrate of 100 or less(just for less space) with drop-frames flag ON and everytime place that video on the timeline, import son script, delete the video and place your original). I prefer this method! I work a lot with NTSC videos, so it saves me A LOT of time to have that video handy, instead of going through pulldown/import in maestro channel... It saves you at least 15min in every project
