unknown codec with fourcc NTN2

I have found some movie files encoded with an unknown codec with a fourcc of NTN2. Does anyone have encountered or known such a codec? Any help would be really appreciated.

Take a look to this web http://www.fourcc.org/ in the section of Codecs. I have only found NTN1, hope you find it useful.

yes i have checked that site and plenty more before; and only found NTN1 codec, but no sign of NTN2. Weird. No information on any website too. Maybe someone on this forum have heard it and has the codec.

Codec you're looking for is called Nogatech Video Compression 2.

Nogatech provides also software drivers that decompress the video signal before the video is displayed on the PC. The chip compresses the video data, using mathematical algorithms to reduce the amount of information (bits) contained within a single image or frame of video. @gaia: i have looked everywhere but could only find NTN1 codec. Do you know the exact place i should look or the file that i should download? It would be cool if you knew.
