Hi:
I've been trying to author a DVD using TMPGEnc DVD Author. But when I try to use the "Add DVD Video" button I run into a very thick wall.
If I tell the program to access the DVD with the movie, after selecting the title I want, I got the message: "The video sequence header is incorrect"
I've ripped the DVD movie to my HD using DVD Decrypter. And then, if I try to add a new track using "Add DVD Video" I got the error message: VIDEO_TS.IFO can't be opened.
What am I doing wrong?

If you didn't get a VIDEO_TS.IFO from your rip you probably used something other than file mode.
If you just have VOBs try another dialog to open them instead.
A "DVD" is always read by VIDEO_TS.IFO, vts_01_0.ifo and then *.VOB

Thanks, maa, for your answer.
This is the content of the folder I ripped the movie in:
VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB
As you can see it has a .IFO file as well as several .VOB (by the way, the movie is Toy Story.
The problem's still the same, whenever I tell TMPGEnc to add a dvd video and point the browser to that folder the program keeps telling me: VIDEO_VTS.IFO can not be opened.

Yes but in file mode DVDdecrypter ALLWAYS provides you with the original Video_ts.ifo
So you must have done something else - I've never seen "VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt" before.
So rip again or -
Use DVDToolbox to create a new Video_ts.ifo.

OK, maa:
I think it was my fault. I ripped using IFO mode, so now I am going to use file mode, I hope this time it'll work.
But there is the issue with the DVD. Why that blasted TMPGEnc doesn't want to recognise it?

Rip in file mode selecting all files, and when adding video open with the video_ts.ifo file. I used tmpg dvd many times and never had a problem.

Well:
I've ripped the movie using file mode (selected all the files). And now when I select "ADD DVD Video" I can see the ADD-Video Wizard, but after selecting the title and audio a new error message pops up "Could not initialize decoder". ???
This is a truly Never Ending Story

Hmmm...
You may not have a standard decoder for mpeg on your system.
You can get one from the download section or if you have PowerDVD you can use my installer (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59243) to make the decoder available to any application.

What if I use Intervideo WinDVD? Can I use those codecs?

Don't know - grab an mpeg/DVD codec from doom9 download page.
