Hi Guys.

I've done some searching on the forum but could not find anything on the subject header.

So i'm wondering why has there never been Schedule Timer Option in Vdub Capture Mode to Start and Stop at a time of your choosing just like a Video Recorder.

I know you can set Vdub to stop after a certain number of Seconds and Frames etc... but from what i can see there is no option of allowing to set a start time.

I know there are other Avi based capture programmes out there but they are Demo's only allowing you so much while Vdub is free and allows you everything.

Is there even any plugins or Mods that will allow this ?????.

Thanks for all the help.

Yes ... but: No!

I am working with VdubVCR for a long time now ... but it has one MAJOR disadvantage for capturing:
There is no function like "increment filename after capturing", so one is always in danger to accidentially overwrite the last capture file, when starting the capture manually.
Moreover, when more than one job is scheduled without restarting the application in-between, the second capture job will overwrite the first one. So, no chance to capture something from 14.00-15.00 and something other from 15.30-16.30.

Don't want to push anyone, but I would *really* appreciate if a mature timer would be implemented into VdubMod.
Moreover, it'd be nicer to have one Vdub version for everything.

Hey Didee, thx for the info m8.

But i only capture 1 programme at a time, so i'm not bothered about overwriting the previous capture.

Once captured i convert to DVD straight away.
