PowerDVD doesnt play end result!

I followed the guide step by step for the movie Wall Street...i used the IFOupdate for the one video file that i kept (the actual movie, the trailers and whatever were ripped out and replaced with dummy files). problem is, PowerDVD doesnt play the newly reauthored DVD on the hard drive (i didnt want to waste a DVDR if the stupid thing wasnt going to work). any suggestions?

The IFOupdate thing is confusing me...I understand you copy the DVD IFOs, BUPs to the scenarist folder...but in the guide, it says you convert the scenarist IFOs BUPs...which doesnt make sense, because you just replaced them. can someone clarify this for me?

Sometimes I get that "file type error" using PowerDVD also...but if it will play on WinDVD then you should be fine. As for the post-Scenarist procedures, take a look at this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=354858#post354858
