VIRTUALDUB, Can i mark a new Key-frame??

Good morning

I have to cut a scene from a movie, unfortunately there is not a key-frame in corrispondence of starting and end cutting point..

May I mark 2 new key frames to the divx/xvid ??????

If yes how I can do it???

afaik there is no "easy" hit a button way to do that.
you will need to reencode that GOP (the 2 GPOPs) containing the frames you want to cut to I Frames-only GOPS. to do that you should try to set minimum and maximum i-frame distance to 0 (don't know if the codec allows that). set the bitrate high enough.
