I use gknot for all encoding. i am trying to rip ac3 xvid. when the encode is finished and i play it back i notice the volume goes from normal to very soft for no reason at all. i checked the origional dvd and the audio is fine. i also checked the .ac3 file and it plays fine. when i set up audio to encode i click the following-
bitrate-audio a i select the .ac3 file i want and make sure size is checked. under interleaving and avi overhead i make sure calculate is checked and no audio is checked.
encoder- i make sure the file is there and i check just mux and make sure the delay is right
ive read all the posts and none seem to help or WAY over my head to even ATTEMPT to understand. What am i doing wrong? please help
