Scenarist and Chapter Point Problems - Bug??

I have been told that there is a bug with ReelDVD 3.0, and I'm wondering if the same bug exists with Scenarist 2.7. The bug is lack of a chapter display on a set-top hardware DVD player when authoring a DVD with ReelDVD 3.0. Officially, ReelDVD does not support chapter display on a hardware DVD player unless a DVD is authored as one continuous PGC. This would mean that you would have a single asset during authoring. NO menu. Simply an auto play continuous video with chapter points. THIS SUCKS! Does anyone know if Scenarist behaves the same way?? The problem I'm trying to avoid is having no chapter points show up on the digital display of my hardware DVD player.

actually, ReelDVD creates its menus as Button Over Video rather than menus, and each menu would appear as a chapter.

Solution
The way that ReelDVD authors the project behind the scenes will not allow you to see the timecode/chapter display. This feature is supported in Scenarist, DVD Producer, DVD Creator and Fusion only.

Symptom
The menu created shows a message on "Still" on my standalone DVD player. Is it possible to make this say "Menu"?

Solution
Due to the authoring structure ReelDVD does not differentiate between the "system space" where the menus normally reside and the "title domain" where you'd put your features with a higher-end authoring tool. Thus the DVD player shows "STILL" because it assumes that what you are seeing is a part of the title. This does not affect menu fuctionality at all. The display is the only limitation.
