Hi all.
I'm trying to make svcd from pva (dvb) with pva2divx. I'm having a small problem. The program always make just one image cd and cuts the beguinning of the film when he is too big.

I'm using the last dvd2svcd version, pvastrumento 2.0.30 and tmpgenc plus 2.5.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you all

How do you use pva2divx? This program seems to convert to divx and you are converting to SVCD.

Isn't there an option in DVD2SVCD to load pva directly (pva2svcd)? Maybe that's what you did? I have never done it myself other than manually.

This is my process:
Demux pva with pvastrumento to elementary streams - mpv and mpa.
Reencode the mpv to svcd compliant mpeg2 elemantary video stream using tmpgenc plus 2.5. Multiplex new video from tmpgenc (m2v) with original audio (mpa) using bbmpeg and set it to cut at filesize 800 MB.

Burn the mpg files from bbmpeg with Nero as SVCD or use VCDEasy.

Thank you for your answer.

Sorry for my mistake - it's pva2svcd.

The programs works very well with small files (less then 75 minutes). The problem it's that i want to make some svcd films with my pva recordings and ad subtitles. When the movie is already recorded with subtitles, i just split the movie in 2. And pva2svcd works perfectly.

Thanks

OK, maybe you can split the pva file in two with pvacut and run pva2svcd twice? You have to split the subtitles also but it can be done with Subadjust and a text editor.
