Capture card not working.

My AIW 9000 suddenly seems to have stopped working, and I've really only had it for a MAX of 1 month, but suddenly when I try running the software it comes with (the only one I can get to work)... Pinnacle Studio Version 8.... the input is nothing but black video, no audio.

It's not the VCR, since I've tested it with other stuff... but why is this happening?

Try the following:

1. Uninstall manually all drivers related to the card

2. Reboot

3. Reinstall the drivers using the CD that came with your card
(Don't let windblows select the drivers)

4. Reboot (no matter if you have Windows XP)

No good, made no change.

Maybe it's that purple thing that extends from the computer port that I plug my cables into?
