My Windows 2000 SP2 machine, which has been faitfully burning CDs/DVDs for a year and 2 months, has suddenly decided not to burn anymore. I am using Prassi PrimoDVD and I have a Pioneer A03 and a Creative 10-12-32 burner. Both drives today will not even get to the fixup stage. A PX engine error -1005 appears on either drive.
The only thing that changed is that I replaced a failed memory DIMM 2 months ago, but have been burning DVDs since then, using Primo DVD. But today, it just stopped working altogether. I also rebooted, but that did not restore function. I can't find a list of error codes. Does anyone know what this error points to?
