When I'm trying to encode an MPEG video to DivX using VirtuaDub 1.5.4 the encoding hangs up after exactly 127.7 megabytes. (The original file size of the MPEG is 527 mb, and the estimated size for the DivX video should be somewhere around 400 mb. So technichally it encondes 30% or less, and then hangs up).
Does anybody know why?
My original mpeg video file is in VCD format.
The settings I used to encode to the DivX is those that follows:
Variable bitrate mode: 1-pass
Endoding bitrate: 1150 kbps
Profiles: home theatre
For the video I've also used a filter, and added a logo in the bottom center of the video.
Audio: Full processing
Compression: MP3, 128 kbps, 44,1 kHz
Anybody who's got any clue of why the encoding stops? And why after 127.7 mb each time exactly?
Thanks in advance...
