I wonder which is the most reliable to avoid desync audio, currently I'm using BeSweet VOB input with -d auto which is a special switch to fix the delay on VOB input. It seems the first (english) track is always sync but the second stream usually seem to be slightly out of sync. Which way do you use and what is your experiance? What program do you use for demuxing what program to fix the delay?
