VirtualDubMod 1.5.1.1a error

Everytime i try to start vdubmod, i get this error:Microsoft visual c++ runtime library - Runtime error.Program: c:(...) This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusal way (...)
Tried to re-install it , but still its not working. clues, anyone? TIA!

Do you have all the necessary dll's? If you aren’t sure go back to vdubmod's site and look for the necessary file packs.

Yes, all the required dlls. It worked perfectly for many conversions, till this error occured - so i think it has something to do with the os i.e. the visual c++ runtime library!?

Before we try to sort this out, please try the current version (1.5.4.1).

Iirc correctly we had someone with the very same problem, unfortunately it vanished before I could pinpoint what was going wrong. As the error seemed to be somewhere in the avisynth loading code, could you please try to reinstall avisynth?
