Converting from DivX 3 low motion to DivX 5.0.5

Hello,

I am a newbie at video encoding and have some films encoded in DivX 3. I want to re-encode them in to DivX 5. Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to do this and if there is a idiot-proof guide on the net somewhere?
