Mentioned this in the channel earlier today/yesterday/whatever...

What happens is at the start of the movie, the subtitles that should be 22 minutes and 22 seconds into the movie play at the very start.

Looked into it and saw that in VonSub, the subs start @ -00:22:22.609
I tried setting a delay of -30030ms (as that's what VobSub/vsrip tried during the DIF4U process) to no avail.
What happens when the time is set correctly (to start about 3 minutes into the film), Scenarist has an error importing saying Subs are longer than the movie (don't have the exact error as I'm not home in front of the machine. I'll edit and add the exact error later).

Curious as to what I can try to get it right, as I REALLY don't want to remove the subs.

Had this same problem with Mission to Mars, only worse. My subs started at somwhere around -01:00:00.00. I never did find a way to fix it. I asked Gabest to help but he's too busy with MPC to find time.

Mission to Mars...happens to be one of the trailers on the DVD...what a coincidence =)

I'm assuming you ended up removing the subs?
Did you happen to try subrip? (damn I hate not having IRC access @ work)

tried subrip, vobsub, etc. I just never backed it up. You know how I feel about an incomplete backup.

If you find a way, I'd love to know it.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention/ask:
When trying to back it up, did you do it PGC (1 angle) or VobID to get both angles?

Not that it matters much, just curious.
