Hi All!!:)
This is my first post in the forum. I was trying to use DVDShrink last night to copy an entire DVD-5 disk so to keep all menu's etc. When I recieved this strange message.

"Cannot procede,
number of secrets in dvd has been exceeded".

The dvd is an original disc for the UK region 2 and I wanted to use dvdshrink to keep all menu's etc. I also tried using DVDDecrypter but it gave an error message also saying that "css failed as no vuneralble vobs where found".
I am somewhat confused as I have successfully used each method before but have never seen these messages.

I have searched the forums but have found no reference to the dvdshrink message.

Cheers!

Well I have no idea about the error, but if it's a DVD-5 you want to backup, then all you need is DVD decrypter. Read the file to as ISO, and then write the ISO to a blank disc - easy as tthat.

Hi JS,

Thanks for the tip but I tried using dvddecrypter in ISO read mode and I received an error "css failed as no vuneralble vobs where found". It was only able to read 2 of the vobs. I also tried dvddecrypter in File mode and had the same result.
I have watched the original dvd from start to end on the computer without error. Perhaps there is something corrupt in the vobs?

Found this thread (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?threadid=21405&highlight=secrets) at DVD Shrink's official forum. Maybe it could shed some light on your problem.
