ok after searching around i found a bunch of threads saying to search ( figures ) ... of the ones that acctully have the same problem .. none acctully offer any soultions.
here is whats going on ...
i have inported a mpeg from my replay unit like i have done meny meny times before , ran the mpeg through wombles gop fixer as it seems somthing that allways needs to be done .. and it allways works out ok .. except this time ... this mepg found a TON of audio sync errors on the gop fixer ( allways does ) but nothing about gop size ... so i did my usual commercial edit and then demuxed the file with tmpeg ... when i try to inport the mv2 into maestro i get the message
"temporal References in gop #2560 (zereo-based) are out of sequence (0xc10b000a)"
i have run the orginal and the new mpeg through the gop fixer in womble and it shows no problems , PVAStrumento will not even open the file ( it's dvd not vcd anyway ) ..bitrate viewer tells me nothing about the gops ( i have shareware ver and i'm not going to register just for 1 mpeg ), i have de-muxed and re-muxed in both tmpeg and bbmpg in the hopes that one of them would correct the bad gop with no luck, of course it plays fine in powerdvd.
all the other mepgs work without a glitch and i have never had this problem except with this 1 single mpeg ... normly i would just say screw it , but this is the farscape episode where zan dies and i would like to be able to keep it.
unfortunaly the orginal file no longer lives on the replay unit as i needed the space for other programs so i only have the copy on my HD thats allredy been run through the gopfixer in womble.
my next step is to re-encode the entire file in cce or tmpeg , somthing i wish to avoid as i almost allways get audio sync errors when i do that ... if anyone has any other soultion please let me know.
