disney dvd back up problems

when trying to decrypt snow dogs on region2 with shrink it gets to 16 % then gives the error cdvd/css failed crc redundancy check. so i tried dvd decryptor and it too gets up to 16% then gives the error "circ unrecovered error" (yet the dvd does play fine in a standalone player). but when using decryptor the last vob file comes up locked as well. is this a new copy protection as all the film i have backed up previously worked fine. any ideas? :confused:

Specific discussion of Snow Dogs can be found here, along with some tips from 2COOL. He's a specialist on these Disney rips and gives a link to one of his "cheat sheets" within this thread. Apparently, many of the Disney discs are structured in ways that make simple decrypting and ripping a pain in the posterior.

I found each of these links by entering the bold terms in a forum wide search, and while there were several more returns to choose from for each, at first glance these two looked to be the most promising. Let us know how you solve this one.:) Good luck!

sorted problem out by using dvd decrypter in ignore error mode. but dvd shrink will still not open file at the end. so i ended up using dvd2to1 on the file to compress movie and nero to burn it. and it works fine. :D
