Hi! I've muxed a video in a matroska container with some .srt subtitles, but when the text are supposed to be italic I see the <I> and </I> tags instead. Is this a bug or just me?? :) I'm using VSFilter 2.27 and Matroska Splitter 1.0.1.5. Thank you!

neither ^^

current VSfilter does not parse them (call it bug, i'd prefer "not yet implemented")

from what i've heard they will be parsed correctly in the next release of VSfilter

Great that means I don't have to remux my movies as VSFilter causes the "problem" :) Thank you very much for your answer!

SRT subtitles should be plain text ? I had no idea that any form of tags are allowed ?

Yup, just recently Gabest has allowed for the <font tags too....which will probably be in the next release :)

You should use <i>..</i> tags in lowercase. VSFilter 2.27 doesn't seem to like uppercase tags. I think Gabest made this because of the XML specification (think of USF subtitles...).

Update : I've just tried VSFilter 2.28 and it accepts uppercase tags... But my advice would be to always use lowercase tags.
