De-Multiplexing Avi/DiVX/XVid

How can i De-Multiplex an avi?
a> is there any special program ?
b> Can Virtual Dub (OR one of its Mods) do it ?

1. Welcome on this forum :)

2. Download VirtualDubMod 1.5.4.1 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod/ and go to "streams --> streamlist", there you can see how to mux/demux !

well.. i got the VirtualDubMod and was able to extract its audio..but isnt there a way to extarct just the video?

it's been a while since i did that, and i don't currently have a divx file on hand, but if i remember correctly, just set the Video -> Direct Stream Copy and Audio -> No Audio and then Save As AVI

figured out another way..but it doesnt just rip out the Video...
Using TMPGEnc Output to File->Save As AVI->Uncheck Audio and save

BUT..it saves it as an uncompressed AVI
