SYSTEM SPECS
AMD XP2400
512MB DDR RAM
Epox 8RDA+
80Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache
LeadTek A280, geForce Ti4200 (capture device)
Running Windows XP Pro (no service pack installations)
Currently i either capture using VirtualDub or WinFast PVR software which came with the video card. I like VD better = ) does a better job, BUT i have a reocurring problem
I configure VD capture settings and proceed to capture video, i dont drop any frames..works like a charm. Then a day later i restart my PC, Configure VD to capture once again, but i loose frames at a remarkable pace.
This occurs, with exactly the same settings as before, wethere i capture uncompressed or compressed, makes no difference.
This has happened a number of times during the last couple of months, ive researched the issue but havnt had much luck.
**CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS ISSUE AT ALL**
Thanks
