Hi All,
Until recently, I have been encoding DVD rips with XviD with no problems (thanks to Doom9's fabulous guide). However when I encoded my last two DVD rips (Rounders, Rat Race), the encodings were fine in the beginning, but the quality suddenly decreased for about the last 10 minutes of either movie (the image became very coarse).
I don't think I have changed any settings since the last time I could produce fine encodings, at least not knowingly. Also, I checked the settings for credits, and it was not activated in GKnot.
Software used: robot4rip (dvd decrypter, dvd2avi, BeSweet), GKnot, Doom9's xvid guide.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
