Hi, im doing some anime encoding of a source that requires frame-editing to get rid of those "burn" artifacts that appear at the top and bottom of old anime whenever the scene changes. Fortunately ive gotten a friend to help me with this, to lighten my workload.
But... this causes another problem.
The idea was to send him a low-qual DivX fiel that he could edit, send back the aviutl project file and i could load the source into that and have it automaticly frameedited (since its the same frame-freezes i need)
The problem is that Aviutl seems to save resolution and format type in the project file, so when i try to load in my VBLE lossless video (with the same name) instead of the DivX, it just says it cant find the right file.
Is there a workaround, or some other way to let my friend to the frameediting easily, and send the results to me?
Ive been missing some kind of simple freezeframe-tool that could load a video, and let you copy frames back and fourth, and save the output to a txt with freezeframe() commands for avisynth. Is there something liek this, or perhaps someone wants to make it? Should be pretty basic to make i would guess (im not a programmer so i wouldnt really know).
Any helpfull suggestions on how i can do this? The only alternative i have so far is sending him the whole lossless video, but thats not an option since its 5-6 gig for 25 minutes.
EDIT: Let me clarify what frame-editing is for those are not familiar with anime encoding. Basicly i need to be able to copy a frame over another frame (so i can repair dammaged frames with duplicates, or near-duplicates in the frame before or after). For the prgram to be useful it need to be possible to do quickly, like in aviutl where you use CTRL+C and CTRL+V to copy and paste. Writing freezeframe() commands manually for example is too time-consuming to be effective.
Then i need to be able to either dump this info out as freezeframe() commands for avisynth, or save it to a lossless YV12 format without using a recompression that requires colorconvertion. If someone were to make a tool like this, then the avisynth freezeframe soultion would be the most ideal (and easiest to code i bet)
