variable quantizer end credits?

Would this be programmingly possible, for encoding.. to have the end credits start off at quant 5 or 6 and slowly lose quality to quant 18 or so after the credits that everybody watches are over? :confused:

A quick solution would be to set the start credits with quant 5 or 6 to the first frame of the end credits, and the end of the start credits to the last frame of the important part of the credits, and the end credits start frame to the start of the unimportant credits, while setting the end of the end credits to the end of the unimportant credits, which is also the end of the credits and of the movie. It might be also possible to set the first frame of the end credits to the first frame of the important part of the end credits, and the last frame of the end credits to the last frame of the important part of the end credits, while setting the start credits to the first frame of the unimportant part of the end credits and the last frame of the start credits to the last frame of the end credits, but I don't know whether XviD cares if the start credits are before the end credits or if the end credits can be before the start credits in the end credits or maybe even the start credits.
You can't do anything about start credits who are real start credits now of course...
You don't have a continous degradation here, but you have better quality for the important credits and worse for the unimportant.
