I never used a ripper, therefore I don't know any thing about this. So, I would like to know if is possible to obtain a game for a dvd extra in this process. For example, in the game "Who wants to be millionaire?", is possible to obtain the entire game or when we use a ripper program, the game loses your programming(GPRMS)? Could I've access to the script of this game?

Thanks

hi,
are you talking about a game that is included in a movie DVD as part of an extra or about a normal PC game that is just stored on a DVD instead of several CDs?

the former should be obtainable by just decrypting the whole iso and then just copying and pasting the files out...

the latter should actually not be encrypted by CSS... therefore you shouldn't need a ripper for it. but honestly i do not know much about game DVD copy protections!

hi steve,

My question is in relation to the games in dvd. As the games have much more archives and are different of the films, that have an only archive, I thought that using a ripper, the programming of the GPRMs could be lost. Do you know?

Thanks

no, unfortunately i don't, but i'm just wondering: if you open the DVD in DVDdecrypter and go to file mode, are the game files visible or does it only display the Video_ts folder?

I don't know. I never used this program. I'll try to use this program to discover if it's possible. if you'll discover something, please, tell me.

Thanks Steve
