I am new to these forums, but I have been ripping SVCD's and VCD's for countless years. I did a search before deciding to post but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
I am a perfectionist so I decided to use the big 3 for all my backups. I have ripped many movies with the big 3, but one question still bothers me. When I run into a movie, that has a 4:3 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. How do I choose only one, and eliminate the other (using the big 3). It is dumb to encode them both becuase your bitrate gets halved. Thanks so much for the help.
