virtual dub

trying to load avi file into virtual dub. says not vfw format, does not support direct x. avi captured from vhs using dazzle dv bridge.
help?

have you noticed this forum yet? http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=59 it is especially dedicated to the DV format and everything around it.

I'm fairly sure you'll find some answers there by searching and reading :)
