I'm trying to author a multi PGC movie, but scenarist doesn't create any VTS_TMAPTI (time map) after authoring.
Without it I believe it's not possible to seek (?)
Is there some way I can create this time map?

Hi,
Are you backing up a DVD or Authoring a home movie:confused:.
As if you are backing up then IFOUpdate will transfer the VTS_TMAPTI from the original DVD, as long as you select it in the Menu.

Oh, sorry;)
I'm backing up a DVD with two movies on one disc, Seul Contre Tous and Carne. There are three PGCs, one for each movie and one for a trailer. Only one VTS
I dont think using VTS_TMAPTI Table Transfer in IfoUpdate works.
The seeks does not work, and isn't that a sign that the VTS_TMAPTI Table is faulty? I think it is because I have added subtitle streams. the source had only one audio track.
Scenarist does not create any VTS_TMAPTI when authoring multiple PGC titles. Is there any way to generate new VTS_TMAPTI Tables based on the reencoded VOBs and copy it into the IFO?

Here's one way I know of :
You need to demux and then re-author with ifoedit.
Search this forum for "Cell Times" some wrote a list somewhere - of course its no replacement for the original chapters but it does allow you to navigate!

@exodious0 - one of us is confused. You said there are 3 PGCs, one for each movie and trailer. In that case this is not a multi-PGC title. Each title (movie or trailer) has one PGC, which means each is a one-sequential, and Scenarist will create a time map for one-sequential PGC titles.
But, you must make your scenario properly, with 3 titles, possibly in more than one titleset (depending on video attributes).

It is me that is confused:)
It's exactly one m2v file per PGC...I guess its not a multi PGC title then.
But Scenarist doen't create any time maps. What am I doing wrong:confused:

I reauthored the dvd with one PGC per title, seeking still doesn't work!
Now scenarist at least creates a VTS_TMAPTI table.
But when I try to transfer it with IFOUpdate it says "Unequal VTS_TMAPTI table sizes. Not transferred"
This is what the original VTS_01_0.IFO looks like in IfoEdit

And this is how I author the new DVD in Scenarist:
