View Full Version : VDubMod exits on AVS exceptions

With the latest version of VDubMod, I find that it simply exits when an AVS exception is raised (e.g. "AviSource: cannot find file") instead of popping up a dialog box. I don't think this was a problem in earlier versions. Interestingly enough, directly loading an invalid AVS (double-clicking in Explorer) allows the error dialog to be displayed, just not when said file is loaded after the program is running, or when refreshing a script in the editor.

Hm, i dont really know where this problem comes from since I don't think anyone thouched the responsible code :/
Could you please (If you haven't already) cross check with vanilla VDub and the 1.4.x series (both VDM and VDub)?

That's also my experience.

Try it with just VirtualDub. It should be fine.

Of course it is, that's why I'm submitting it as a VDubMod bug.

I couldn't reproduce the bug with our current working version which can either mean 1.) The bug has gone with the wind 2.) Its something spcific to your settings. Lets hope for 1.
