Hi everyone,
I started using XviD recently and have had success with a number of DVD conversions, however yesterdays attempt at 'Mulholland Dr.' resulted in an image skewed 45 degrees to the right with dancing red and green colours - i'm not particularly literate when it comes to descriptions, if it'd help i could try and grab a screenshot.
Right, here's all the information i think may / may not be useful:
Athlon XP1900 / 512 MB PC2100
Windows XP SP-1
XviD - 24062003-1 - Koepi's build
Gordian Knot 0.28.5
Codec settings in compliance with snowbeach's document:
'MPEG-4_XviD_Koepi_24062003-1_Encoder_Guide_ver20030702.pdf'
Mulholland Dr. - PAL DVD - 140 mins 31 secs
Avg. movie bitrate 1257 k/bits
Resolution - 716 x 380
Decoding with ffdshow build date May 23th 2003
If anyone can help / share useful advice i'd be most grateful,
Thanks! :)
P.S - Apologies if this question has appeared before, i did search but i guess you can never be too thorough. ;)
