Hi,

I bought a surround system and downloaded some DTS/THX trailers.
They are all vobs and can be playd on my desktop pc.

Since I haven't auhtored any dvd I have the next question:
Which program do I need to be able to create a dvd with menu
to be able to play it on my standalone?

I don't want to loose any sound/picture quality so is it
possible to compose a dvd without re-encoding the vobs ?

I found a guide with ifoedit and vobedit to join and create
a dvd but you can't create a menu with it.
I found a guide where the use TMPGEnc DVD Author but I don't
know if this program is good and can do my job.

Thank you for helping this newby !

Well if you don't mind a bit of basic DVD programming and buying Sonics "MyDVD" I wrote a guide which is perfect for this situation.
