I used MSS until I found it has a big problem with AC3 tracks and MP3 tracks (in conjunction). The symptoms are:
- Unexpected stop of audio for MP3 track (as first and second track)
- When AC3 is the second track, it has noises and causes faster video playing
- It can cause loss of smoothness on playing (under circumstances I can determinate)
I've determined MSS as the problem this way (with a AVI file with VBR-MP3 as first track and a AC3 as second track):
- Media Player Classic has no problem at all playing this file (has own switcher)
- With MSS uninstalled the file played ok on wmp (with both tracks playing simultaneously, of course)
- Both files were ok, without errors or noises.
- The AVI file muxed with only one of these files played ok.
