Hello,
I'm trying to capture a one hour D8 tape through the firewire using Windows Movie Maker II.
The capture setting is at DV-AVI, so I should be getting somewhere around a 14GB file. Problem is, I'm only getting around 5.0GB.
I've checked the tape, and it's an hour. I've disabled ani-virus, but, yes, I'm not sure of what else is running in the tray.
When I preview the file, it says it's 30 minutes long, and its very choppy, both the video and audio.
I've captured at this setting ( DV-AVI ) before and the file size was fine, from the same camcorder, and the file was not choppy. Only difference is, a different hard drive.
The drive is clean, NTFS and it is set for file indexing.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help,
