I am having trouble making divxs of my Final Destination 2 and Street Fighter DVD's? Has anyone else had trouble with this? I use Fair Use and if anyone hasn't had luck with that program, like I haven't, have you had luck with another? If so, which one? Thanks for any help.

As far as I know, Fair Use has not been updated since July 2001. Doom9 has a Fair Use guide (http://www.doom9.org/fu.htm) for DivX 3, and a guide for using the Fair Use "Difftracking" feature (http://www.doom9.org/fu-difftracking.htm).
Doom9's current DivX 3, DivX 5, and Xvid guides (http://www.doom9.org/divx-encoding.htm) are all based on the Gordian Knot encoding suite. Due to it's flexibility (and Doom9's guide), Gknot is probably the most-used of all DivX encoding suites among the forum membership.
Other popular DivX suites include Xmpeg, DVX, Vidomi, and Flask. In addition, many of us use Gknot as an AviSynth script generator and encode manually using VirtualDub or one of its variants.
I hope this helped.
