Ok, so I have FFDSHOW installed on my PC, and I can call the configuration tool from the Start Menu etc.

How do I know that my media player of choice (BSPLAYER or PowerDVD) is using the FFDSHOW libraries as the playback codec?

Ie: FFDSHOW has all these options for implementing noise filters, deinterlace filters etc - but I have no idea if they are being used or not. (I suspect not, as my CPU usage is not going up)..

What do I have to do to link FFDSHOW with BSPLAYER?

In Bsplayer I believe u should have an icon in system tray, like vobsub, u can try other programs tough. I personally use mv2 player wich gives you any codec config option internally. I seems that it has some probs with ac3, not unplayable tough.
Not sure about radlight & Zoomplayer

Cheers
