I have been making copies of some children DVD's to play in my portable audiovox in the car. The players seems to be getting harder to please as it gets older. Most all of the copies that i make with DVD2one will no longer work with the audiovox portable player. They will work with all of my other set top players. I can make a copy of the same movie with dvdxcopy and it works on the audiovox. Does anyone have a suggestion? I am using dvd decrypter, dvd2one, burn with Record Now Max

Hi, welcome to the forums!

I was going to say that you should have posted your question in the One click DVD backup solutions forum but I don't believe it's a DVD2One issue. It may be a media or burning problem? It could also be your player as perhaps it has went through alot of wear and tear. As for media, what brand/type are you using and as for another burning method, try using Nero.

My 2 cents.

thanks for the reply... i am using ritek media... i will try to burn with nero... i am using the same media to make copy with dvdxcopy, so i didn't think the media was the problem... i had used nero for a couple of years, when i was making copies the old fashioned way... before 5.5.10 there were some problems when burning after using dvd2one... i saw a post that record now was the best burning tool for that software... so i changed and now i am experiencing these problems... i'll give the new nero 6 a try and see what happens

My 2 cents, too!

If you have better luck with DVDxcopy then it may be worthwhile to check out DVDShrink 2.3 [I assume you need the compression like in DVD2ONE]. Its a slick backup tool, and best of all FREE! :D

thanks... i'll take a look... the machine is probably the biggest problem... it just ticks me off that i can get it to work with the copy made by dvdxcopy, and not the other methods... you are correct, i need the compression for some of the bigger movies... i'll try dvdshrink and see if there is a difference... thanks for the advice
