Hi there.

Sorry if I'm repeating ather peoples' threads but I've seeken all over the forum and I didn't found any thread explaining how to convert a Div-X movie to a DVD-R and how to include a subtitle.

I have lots of movies here in Div-x or XVid format, all of them with portuguese subtitles (mostly *.sub), and I've already made it converting them to DVD-R. I use Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2. The problem apears when I want to put the subtitles like those Original DVD's, where we press the "subtitle" button on hour remote and the subtitle apears. You know what I mean.

If anyone knows how to do this or where can I finf some kind of guide, please tell me.

PS: I have DVDMaestro 2.9. Where can I get a guide to this?

Thanks!

Here's my e-mail! (sco99@hotmail.com)

A guide for Maestro is available at doom9 site at Guides.

For the subs to work u have to open them in subrip and transform them to stl format. Then u can import them to Maestro.

I didn't know that sub rip could read *.sub and *.srt. I'll go there and try it. Thanks.

And what about maestro: does it read divx files? as far as I tried, I didn't make it! What kind of files does DVDMaestro accept?

Thanks!

I guess you should take a look at the format conversation guides on doom9.org!
especially avi -> DVDR !!
