View Full Version : How to set Intervideo's demuxer as default?

Hi,
since I have Windvd4 I'd like to set Intervideo's Mpeg demuxer as the default one (instead of Microsoft's one), because it can handle
Mpeg TS files.

What I want is being able to use Zoomplayer to play my DVB captures, because I don't like Windvd.

I ran regsvr32 (without complaints) on every .ax file I found in the directory, including Ividemux.ax, but Zoomplayer and Graphedit still can't render the graph automatically: I have to build it by hand.

What else should I do?

Thanks.

You could try to unregister the Microsoft splitter >>> C:\Windows\System32\mpg2splt.ax and see what happens ;)

done, and still nothing :(

Wasn't there a "(de-)merit" key in the registry to set the preferred
filter in a category?

Thanks.

Doesn't Zoom player allow you to create custom graphs? No idea how to do that manually but IIRC, MPC and MV2 player have some sort of internal graphedit with "set merit" functionality

Hope this helps
