I really don't think so, but u can make 2 menus one that lasts as long as the subtitle highlight and a second one to jump to that doesn't have one.

I think you can do that by creating a menu in a movie (the "button over video" guide will help you)

So put your video or still to a movies timeline in maestro and define a chapter to the point your subpicture is goint to be set off.
Now right click the 1st chapter and press "edit chapter". Click to mark "Button Highlight" and do that for the chapter you created.
Now drag and drop the subpicture you want between the two chapters...
Now double-click in the subpicture and in Subtitle Editor you'll be able to draw buttons. Make all the things you do for your menu and then define the end action for your movie/menu

MUCH easier way, go to the menu, go to the tab "Playback Control"

There's a slider that shows 3 screenshots of the menu above it. Move the slider to the right until the middle picture is at the point where you want the subpictures to appear.

Taadaa!

Ok. maybe i didn't understand the question....
If he wants to have an intro video and then his subpicture to be activated, then this is the way to go, BUT if he wants the opposite result(having the sub initialy ON and then after 10 seconds to go OFF, then i believe he should do what i say...

Maybe it has something to do with our common origin! :)
But, I bet that we'll never know what actually dcking asked, since he hasn't replied to this thread for 3 days now,not just even for saying: "oh, great!!! That worked fine!!! Thanks you guys!!! See ya!!! Bye!!!!"

But that's ok i guess...:)
The utter purpose is for others to learn...
